Former American Idol, Kelly Clarkson, will return to the stage that made her a star this week.

Clarkson is set to return to “American Idol” this Thursday. According to the L.A. Times she will be performing a duet of “Don’t You Wanna Stay,” with country singer Jason Aldean. You may remember the duo performing at the Country Music Awards back in 2010. Their song was so successful it went to No.1 on the Billboard country music charts.







his won’t be her first time back, she appeared at the end of last season for a farewell performance for judge Simon Cowell.


Clarkson won the very first season (2002) of the hit television series “American Idol.” She went on to release four albums under RCA Records including Thankful, Breakaway, My December and All I Ever Wanted and has also gone on tour worldwide, becoming the highest-selling Idol winner worldwide.
