In a twist worthy of the thrilling show itself, it has been revealed that Lost alum Evangeline Lilly is heavily pregnant with her first child.
The beauty, who played Kate Austen on the hit show, was spotted in Hawaii with a huge baby bump that suggests she is only weeks away from giving birth.
Usmagazine.com broke the news along with shots of the expectant mother on their website.
In the photographs, the 31-year-old, who is dating Lost production assistant Norman Kali, has covered her bump with a long blue paisley dress.
Wearing flip-flops, she appears to be suffering the curse of the expectant mother - swollen ankles.
The pretty brunette was also caught having a snack on the move, and seemed utterly shocked to be rumbled after hiding away successfully for so long.
Representatives for the actress have refused to comment, but Lilly has been vocal about her desire to have a baby in the past.
Last May on ABC 's The View, she revealed that acting was just her day job and that she wanted to concentrate on writing and being a mother.
She also said to Women's Health: 'I have always wanted to have a child of my own and I will always want to go through the gift that women have been given to experience that, so I hope to be a mother at some point.'
'I think I can allow myself one child - and from then on, I think I would have to adopt. It makes sense not to add to the population problem.'
Many assumed that Lilly would settle down with her co-star on the hit ABC show, Dominic Monaghan, 34 , who she dated from 2004 to 2009.
They remained close until the show ended in May last year, but Monaghan now lives in LA while Lilly has been staying In Hawaii.
It's an unusual choice, as Lilly was traumatised by a terrible fire there in 2006 which burnt down her home, and revealed two years later that she is allergic to the island.
She told Starpulse: 'Island fever is not a joke.'
'It's something everyone in Hawaii experiences. I'm allergic to Hawaii. Everything there makes me react in some way. I have spent the last four years with allergic reactions, or sick.'
Perhaps then, Lilly's six years of filming on the island convinced her that Hawaii was a good place to hide from the glare of the spotlight.
The show, however, should have taught her that you never know who is watching.
It will be the first child for both Lilly and Kali.
